Please Meet My Teddy

On the couch she lays
surrounded by blue
soft light on her face
soft face in the light
gently breathing
and sometimes a snore
her body relaxed
how much can a heart adore?
Her hands are enormous
their touch feather-light
She has a potbelly
and when she laughs it jiggles like jelly
She keeps my body warm at night
and I always hold her tight
Her eyes are the bluest blue
and they sometimes leave me without a clue

The evening air is crisp and cool
she's dressed in a tracksuit
I can't help but giggle
she pulled the pants down to cover her feet from the cold
As I cover my sleeping beauty with a blanket
she's sighs in her sleep
I swear I caught a glimpse of a smile just then
Sweet lips
she has the most kissable lips
when she speaks, they beg to be kissed
Her hugs are the best
Tender power
We met on the Net
just over a year ago
a strange story indeed
God was looking after my ISP connection that day ;)
For having her in my life
I give God thanks every day
When the world gets tough
she hides in her Bucket
when the world gets tough on me
she'll take on the devil
My Teddy is great
She wakes me with coffee and a kiss every day
Always a smile
Ruffles my hair
It's time to get up
I close my eyes to the morning light
sipping the warm liquid
lingering on her gentle love for me

As I tuck the blanket under her back
her feint sweet scent fills my very soul
She can be a mother to me
She is my baby
We're a strange pair
a Teddy and a Bucket
we fit snuggly

I wish I could tell her
just how much I love her
True love has no words I guess
only precious moments like these ...

Please meet my Teddy
a most lovable little bear

I love you Honey
Sweet Dreams
and
Happy Birthday!

what it's like

what it's like to have friends, one's who love and know who you are by thought?
what it's like not to have friends at all to comfort and care for you?
what it's like to grief over one who is gone beyond our belief and not here on earth with us no more?
what it's like to have no grief because we have no one to do it for in our lives?
what it's like to help a homeless person who is in need of just comfort of a stranger?
what it's like when a stranger is in need of someone who is homeless?
what it's like when someone says they no longer love you anymore?
what it's like when someone says they love you everyday?
what it's like? go into the world and seek those who are in need of these things.
what it's like? go into the world and see how wonderful it feels when these things come back to you.
that is what it's like!

I'll Always Be There

by

When you're feeling lonely
Or in a state of despair
Just close your eyes, think of me
And my darling, I'll be there

My love for you has no end
Of that please be aware
I might not be with you in body
But in spirit, I'm always there

Just remember I love you
And that I'll always care
So when you need strength
To carry on, darling, I'll be there

So when things get you down
And seem too hard to bare
Think about my love for you
Sweetheart, I'll always be there!

My Sweet Lady

There is something wonderful
I would like the world to hear
It's all about the glorious love
Of the woman I hold dear

Everything looks much brighter
Whenever she smiles at me
She's full of love and beauty
I wish the whole world could see

And when my darling touches me
I tremble deep down inside
Like a giant volcano erupting
Spilling forth love I cannot hide

I call her "My Sweet Lady"
For that's what she is you see
And I cherish every moment
I can have her close to me

All Alone

I feel so lost and all alone
No one to hold me close
And tell me how much they care
At night I feel it the most

When the night draws near
And I lie alone in this bed
I feel the emptiness all around
Closing in-a feeling I dread

And as the days drag on
The feelings are always there
Growing stronger all the time
My God, don't anyone care?

Somewhere out there-in that world
There has to be someone for me
Someone to love, cherish and hold
To show what life is meant to be

Life should be filled with love
Happiness shared between two
I have more than enough love
To give-Oh, but where are you?
