PASSIONS

THE CANDLES BURN
THE COVERS TURNED DOWN
MY ANTICIPATION IS LEAPS AND BOUNDS
TIME MOVES SLOW
YET TIME STANDS STILL
WAITING
MORE WAITING
PASSION FILLED EVENING
PHONE RINGS
YOU WHISPER MY NAME
I SAY----- COME GET ME
I AM HOME
SPARKS FLY
EXCITEMENT IN THE AIR
SOON YOU'LL BE HERE
CANDLE GONE LOW
COVERS TWISTED AROUND
PASSION GONE
BUTCH IS BACK IN TOWN
FOR ALL THOSE NIGHTS WHEN YOU WERE OUT OF TOWN
WITH YOUR JOB, AND THE RETURNS HOME.............

THE BUTCH IN YOU
by Lea M. Murray

THE WAY YOU WALK INTO THE ROOM
SO SURE OF YOURSELF
MAKES ME STOP EVERYTHING I'M DOIN
THE WAY YOU MOVE AND GROOVE
YOUR LITTLE SMIRK
I NEVER HAD TO LOOK TWICE
YOUR SO STRONG, BOLD, AND FIERCE
YOU MAKE ME STUTTER AND SHUDDER
THE WAY YOU WEAR YOUR SUITS, AND TIES
MAKES ME STUTTER AND SHUDDER
SO COCKY-- YOU ALL TRY TO OUT BUTCH EACH OTHER
ALWAYS MAKES ME SMILE
YET EVEN SO ROUGH--- YOUR SO GENTLE
WHEN PRIVATE TIME ARRIVES
YOUR SO SEXY AND HOT
ITS THE BUTCH IN YOU
THAT I UNDERSTAND AND LOVE

OCEAN CITY
THE TIDE
THE WAVES
YOUR MOTHER SAID WEAR A DRESS
YOUR FATHER SAID LET HER BE
YOU HATED DOLLS
BUT LIKED SPORTS
YOU SPENT YEARS CHASING YOUR SHADOW
TRYING TO FIND WHERE YOU WOULD FIT IT
SCHOOL
MILITARY
BARS AND CLUBS
YOU LOVE MANGOS
YOU EAT THEM WITH YOUR FINGERS
JUST LIKE AN INDIAN
YOU FINALLY FOUND YOUR PLACE
AND FOUND MARITAL BLISS
NO CHILDREN-------- NO DRESS
BUT YES HAPPINESS

PRIDE IN THE NAME OF LOVE
by Lea M. Murray
© 1999
THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE TO HIDE
THAT IS WHY WE CALL IT PRIDE
I LOVE YOU FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY INNER BEING
THAT IS WHAT THEY'RE NOT SEEING
THEY DON'T GO TO JAIL FOR MAKING LOVE
THEY NEVER HAVE LIFE AS ROUGH
I LOVE YOU AND YOU LOVE ME
THAT'S WHAT THEY NEED TO LEARN TO SEE

THE CLOSET

HIDDEN IN THE CLOSET DOOR
IS SOMEONE THAT LIVED BEFORE
THE TOWN PASSES THE NIGHT AWAY
I STAND ALONE BECAUSE I CAN'T SAY I'M GAY
AND THE DAY CAME TO GET RID OF THE PAST
I'M FREE BECAUSE I TOLD THE SECRET AT LAST
I URGE EVERYONE TO COME OUT OF THE CLOSET. IF YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT
YOU CAN ALWAYS E MAIL ME AND I WILL BE HAPPY TO TALK WITH YOU, CRY
WITH YOU, LAUGH WITH, YOU OR WHATEVER YOU NEED

VICTIMS

BORN
LIFE AHEAD
DON'T CALL YOUR SON A SISSY
DON'T CALL YOUR DAUGHTER BOYISH
DON'T BULLY OTHER KIDS
JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT
IT'S A TERRIBLE FEAR
TO BE
AND SCARED OF BEING BASHED
DON'T THROW YOUR KIDS OUT AND CALL
THEM HATEFUL NAMES
DON'T FIRE PEOPLE
JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T AGREE WITH
THEIR LIFESTYLE
DON'T DENT PEOPLE RIGHTS
YOUR NOT GONNA GET A DISEASE
DON'T JUDGE
WHAT'S NATURAL AND NORMAL FOR YOU
IS NOT FOR SOME
DON'T HATE, BEAT AND MURDER
BECAUSE OF LOVE
LET'S MAKE A CHANGE

Anticipation

We leave that crowded place and drive for about an hour
You have fallen asleep once again on my shoulder.
You have drifted into a peaceful sleep.
A beautiful smile is what I now see.
I pull into the parking lot slowly as not to wake you.
I get out of the car, and gently close to door.
I walk inside weary from the drive.
My body is crying out for sleep.
The room is paid for with my credit card.
The lady at the counter hands me the key.
I look down at it as I walk to the car.
Room 119 I will never forget.
I get in and drive around to the back of the hotel.
I turn the ignition off and look at you for a few minutes.
I reach over and touch your leg gently to wake you.
I kiss your forehead tenderly and call out your name.
You wake slowly and look at me.
We get out of the car and meet at the back.
I put my arm around you to steady you.
We walk to the room with your head on my shoulder.
We are both exhausted from a long day in the sun.
Neither of us can wait to get under the hot water and relax.
We walk in the room, and the door closes behind us.
You turn and look at me.
We embrace, suddenly my body is wide awake.
It is burning with desire and passion.
My body wants only to be next to yours.
I lay you down on the bed and kiss you.
You lay your body on top of mine.
Your leg you place between mine.
You smile at me as you press your leg into me.
Your kiss comes slow and deep.
I gasp as my body spasms from a single touch.
You tongue searches desperately in my mouth.
I wrap my arms around you, and pull you to me.
I run my fingernails down your back pressing into your skin.
I feel the passion building between us.
You pull back gently and smile at me.
You stand up and walk into the bathroom.
I listen to the water run as I lay there in anticipation.
For Nadine, you make my heart race without a touch.

Coming home

From the moment our eyes met I knew that we were meant to be.
It was as if I had finally found my way home.
She came to visit a few times, but always with another.
Then one day she came to me alone and smiling.
My heart raced, and I could not help but wonder what it meant.
I had longed for this day my entire life.
Everything I had dreamed of was not more than a few feet away the entire day.
My head was swimming.
We spent the day together, just her and I.
It was definitely the best day of my life.
Obvious nervous flirting came from within.
I closed my eyes as we were surrounded by water.
I could sense her nervousness.
I could feel her heart beating wildly like mine.
We tried so hard all day not to touch.
But when the day was done, I could resist no longer.
Our lips met and my heart skipped a beat.
The taste of her sweet lips I had tasted before.
Something in me stirred.
I remembered past lives spent with her.
Memories came flooding back.
As I looked into her eyes, I knew that I had found my way home.
For Nadine, my soul is at rest for I have found my way home.
