some prose - Part Three
by ArTeMiS
© June 5, 1999
11. i know you'll leave my mouth aflame
and adrift on the taste of you
i shant breathe
for an eternal moment
and pull your soul
through mine
12. don't even attempt to
replace the emptiness
you'll leave with a
fractured smile
13. with unbearable lightness
you trace my pulse
adrenaline rush
your tenderness
exploding
upon my neck
14. you found me
clenched
and groping
within the palm of my hand
and loved me
15. what do you know!
you told me
i hadn't lost you
that you'd simply been
Miss laid
16. mysteriously
erotically
the scent of your skin
provoked a
deliriously delicious
craving sensation
to nose-dive
into your card
and down into
your scented
darkness
17. you have caught the sun
and the rain
and my eye
or perhaps
it is they
that have caught you
18. the moon
crawls down your stomach
as do i raising my eyelids
as i reach your navel hot
breath moist tongue
pounding circle
ardent desire -
slowly your thighs
close around my neck
19. beach barefoot
tousled hair
sun burnt cheeks
backwash memory too strong
beach barefoot
tousled hair
tear-stained cheeks
20. you appeared like a blazing star
flickering
fading
fooling me.
21. we watch the rain
cavorting
playfully pouring
secrets into coffee cups
and meddling
with the smiles on our faces
in a rainy sort of way
22. it's your final rope-trick
that knotted my life.
i think of how you took me
in your strong lying hands
lassoed me
with a hangman's noose
with murderous declarations
and pulled the knots so tightly
that i can't untie them now
- no -
nor can you.
and you sit there
smugly waiting
day after day after day
for the floor below me
to give way.
23. holding back my tears
i tell you
i'd travel around the world
to touch you
and undress your
smile with mine

TO DREAM
by skw

I HAVE A DREAM THAT I WILL DO MY PART
TO ADD JOY AND MEANING TO CHILDREN'S LIVES,
I HAVE A DREAM THAT WORKING TOGETHER THE CHILDREN
AND I WILL TEACH EACH OTHER TO OWN TRUTHS AND OTHERS WILL LISTEN,
I HAVE A DREAM THAT THE WOMEN OF THIS EARTH WILL STAND IN
PROTECTION OF THIS
TRUTH AND THE CHILDREN WILL FEEL SAFE TO
BE...

DANCING

LIFE, REMEMBER MY DANCE
I HAVE NOT ALWAYS KNOWN YOUR STEPS
AND I CONTINUE TO GROW AND LEARN.
YOUR MUSIC FILLS ME WITH WONDER
MOMENTS OF AWE, MOMENTS OF MAGIC
I AM TOUCHED, I AM CHANGED
I AM DANCING, UNAFRAID.
LIFE, REMEMBER MY DANCE
AS I EXPERIENCE YOU
IN MOMENTS OF SILENCE
I SEE SO CLEARLY
FROM MY HEART, FROM MY SOUL,
I AM AWAKE, I AM ALIVE
I AM HUMBLED.
LIFE, REMEMBER MY DANCE
AS I WAIT WITH ANTICIPATION
THE SUNRISE MY PRELUDE,
THE SUNSET MY ENCORE
IN THE STILLNESS, IN THE MOVEMENT,
I AM LAUGHTER, I AM JOY,
I AM FREE, ONCE MORE.
