Tomorrow's Reality

by Jennifer Dawn
© March 17, 1999

Reality is our only tomorrow
Live in it today or fade away
For tomorrow will always dawn.

Maybe not for myself
Perhaps not for you
Even for those that will not see
another day

Clear away the cobwebs
Prepare for the glorious day
Open yourself so wide- receive
Don't hide away inside

Stop hiding within a shell
Throw open your eyes
Behold and see
Feel your life to start

No more foolish games
Hiding inside of yourself
Live in tomorrow's light
Or die in yesterday's shadow.

The Magic of the Sun

by Tami Lowe
© May 7, 1999

As the sun shines through my window,
It touches my face and brings warmth to my soul.
So full of beauty and magic, she looks down upon us
Bringing smiles to children and laughter to the world.

People busy themselves under the light of her
Running in all directions, taking in her warmth,
Basking in her heat, and smiling as she touches them.
With her, she brings a farewell to darkness.

She touches not only the surface of the earth,
But she enlightens our inner spirits.
Through her, our emotions heighten, our energy rises,
And, loneliness lags behind us as we run to greet her.

She sends us Spring so that the birds can sing to us,
She gives us Summer so we can explore nature's glory.
She comes to us during the Fall, to give us hope for our future,
Even in the winter, she appears to shine her light upon us.

So, should your heart be saddened by life's darkness,
Look up to the heavens and let her touch your soul.
You will never stand alone as her hand with reach for you.
Let her warm you, comfort you, and bring a smile to your life.

A Mother

by Jennifer Dawn
© May 7, 1999

Many times she has dried my tears
Only to await the next heartache.
Then with a warm embrace,
Holding me tight she sighs,
Everything will be alright.
Remember I love you dear.
~~~
To all the mothers out there
Happy Mother's Day!
"SOUND"
by Shaddie
© May 1999
When a tree falls in the woods and there's no one around
they say it makes vibrations and not a sound.
When my heart fell in love with you no one was around
and yet it made vibrations and a sound
And it sounded like this "I Love You Maria"
"EMOTIONS"
by Shaddie
© May 1999
I've had my heart so full of joy that I would cry
I've had my heart so sad because someone said good bye
I've felt the sand beneath my feet on the moonlit shores of the ocean
I've sat in the woods and watched a fox playing and going thru the motions
I've held an angel just a few seconds old
I've lost an angel because they grew old
My feelings for you are very real
My EMOTIONS for you makes my heart stand still
