Taken in 2000. I live outside Austin on a five acre farm with my dog, Dot, a donkey on loan named Dominique, and lots
of wildlife. I just moved my son to Seattle and miss him terribly, but enjoy our talks & look forward to our visits.

My best friends just had twin boys via artificial insemination and I am a self-appointed Auntie. Just took them on their
first tractor ride! Along with that I spend my free time fixing up my house, helping friends with some work at their
homes, working on my '52 Chevy truck, playing on the tractor, which sometimes looks like work...but isn't.

I retired from a counseling position in a high school, and am finding retirement challenging in its own ways: staying
busy, figuring out my new aches and pains, learning to live a rich yet calculated life financially. I am healthy physically,
mentally, emotionally (well, some would disagree!), and monetarily. I don't smoke, drink, drug, or over-indulge in
anything except potato chips and sour cream on occasion. Oh yeah, and ice cream...and cheese. Oh...then there
IS popcorn. My most favorite gastro-intestinal treat: coffee, shared with a good conversation.

I value intelligence, integrity, humor, spontaneity, optimism, open minds, uninhibited consenting sexual expression,
taking care of one's self (in all ways), kindness, and people who leave a place better than it was when they arrived.

I am a 41 year old Lesbian living in Midland, Michigan. I am monogamously
coupled. I love to meet new friends from different places. I enjoy movies,
rollerblading and chatting. I hope we have the chance to become friends.
