Pets - those trusted and devoted Companions in life that unselfishly adored us
and unconditionally loved us and so magically brightened our existences with
their own. These cherished Creatures are remembered with deep affection
and their lives shall be Honoured by us all through this particular Gallery.

Rusty
Rusty....The best friend I ever had!
I got Rusty when he was 6 weeks...his blood line was Safras Poodle....because of a
white spot on his chest he was not good for Showing.....but that never interfered with
his personality!! From day one he was my constant companion....always wanting
to please...always being there.....not more than 5 feet from me. He was never in my
way...ever...but there. He learned quickly and was always obedient....never tore up
his toys....learned to use doggie door.....and my routine. Monday thru Friday he
would watch me leave for work with a sad face but on weekends was at the door first
if I went out...he always knew!! He never went off the deck or the back steps....only
if I opened van door and said come...then he would get in the van. I will never forget
one early Sunday morning I went for a paper.....opened van door...said come...then I
went to the back of the van for something...then got in van and went to the store...
looked back and said "stay"...he was not there!!.. I raced back home thinking he
may of tried to follow....and there on the back step was 'Rusty'...looking at me with
very hurt eyes as if to say 'you left me'.....opened door to have him get in and he
would not!!...he was so hurt!! I finally had to put him in...then he was ok.
Rusty lived to be 17....he was blind...deaf and had heart problems....his quality of
life was bad and I had to make a decision..it was hard but I knew it was right for
him...not me...but him.
As I live out my life with out my best friend....he is always in my heart...and I
know he is still watching out for me in his way.
As my best friend he ALWAYS walked beside me..never in front or behind....
beside me!! That I will always miss!! When I do pass on I know he will be
waiting for me.... to walk beside me again.
I love you my friend...till we meet again!
